The first step in working with Halt Square is getting to know each other. This involves an in-depth review of your current capabilities, fitness level and riding goals. We’ll identify a coaching plan after we’ve met and organized a ride. We travel across Southern Ontario, and can often arrange to come to you & your horse or conduct a video consultation. Book your consultation now for $250 + travel fees or via a video call.

Please note that travel fees may apply when selecting an In-Person Consultation. Online Consultations can often be accommodated faster than In-Person Consults and exempt from travel fees.

We require a one-time payment, to schedule and book your initial consultation. We use Stripe to process secure credit card payments. When you purchase your one time booking you will receive an automated follow up email, putting us in contact. We will reach out to you to schedule your consultation, based on your proposed dates.

When we arrive at your facility, we will dive deeper into your goals, meet your horse and begin your in-person consultation. For your off-horse assessment, we will ask you to perform some exercises to evaluate your biomechanics and assess your current capabilities. We then move into your mounted evaluation! We’ll use this research to plan a custom training regiment that will help you achieve your riding goals.

We’ll come to you! If your coach can be present for your assessment, that is even better! You also have the option to send in a video analysis and summary of your experience for an online consultation, which will be just as in-depth as our in-person assessments.

The length of our initial consultation will depend on how much detail you included in your forms (these will be sent once your consultation payment is received). The more detail the better! Our team will review your paperwork prior to our in-person consultation. You can expect your assessment to be in the range of 2-3 hours. During this time, we’ll get to know each other deeper and really figure out what package best suits you and your horse's goals.
